PNC Custom Building Inc. is searching for Carpenters, Site Foremen, Labourers & Drivers to join their expanding, talented team! These positions are excellent full-time, year-round career opportunities with potential for growth. We work on small renovations to complete new house builds; start to finish, formwork to fine interior finishing. Our projects are primarily on the North Shore. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of workmanship to ensure the complete satisfaction of our clients.

Foremen
($40/hr and up depending upon experience)
Applicants should:
- Have Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience
- Be able to lead projects with limited supervision
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with progressive problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and specs
- Have excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of construction.
- Have a good working knowledge of building codes
- Be able to teach and give direction to apprentices and labourers
- Be able to assist with coordination of sub-trades and daily site activities
Carpenters
($30/hr and up depending on experience)
Applicants should:
- Have a proven 3+ years of carpentry experience in residential construction
- Have Red Seal Certification or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with progressive problem-solving skills.
- Have ability to read, interpret and follow drawings accurately
- Have excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of construction
- Own all basic hand tools and belt
- Additional power tools are an asset
Labourers
($18/hr and up depending on esperience)
Applicants should:
- Have a proven 1+ years of carpentry experience in residential construction.
- Have excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Have the ability to follow direction and be willing to work with minimal supervision.
- Be willing to learn and constantly improve skills
- Apprenticeship Certificate is an asset
Duties:
- The job consists of physical labour such as digging, packing lumber and materials, site clean ups, and assisting apprentices and carpenters as needed.
Driver
($18/hr and up depending on experience)
Applicants should:
- Be hard working and eager to learn
- Have knowledge of lumber and lumber yards
- Have a clean drivers abstract
- Have experience driving with a trailer
Duties:
- Lumber and supply runs, site clean ups, garbage/recycling runs and some general labour.
